Interface Overview
The MemoryBox extension is designed to be low-profile but high-utility. Depending on whether you are checking your connection or committing a new memory, you will use one of the four components below.1. Browser Action Pop-up
Global Status & SettingsAccessed by left-clicking the pinned icon in your Chrome toolbar. Use this to verify your Backend Link is green and to check your current version.Best for: Initial setup and troubleshooting.
2. Assistant Orb
Real-time ConfigurationA floating icon on the right side of your chat. Hovering reveals toggles for Auto-sync user input and Auto-sync AI response.Best for: Adjusting memory behavior mid-conversation.
3. The 'Commit' Action
Prompt EnrichmentClicking the Blue Airplane tells the Extension to talk to the Desktop App and enrich your prompt with relevant local memories.Best for: Giving the AI access to your personal context.
4. Session Library
Context SelectionVisible only on New Chats. This allows you to “bind” your current conversation to a specific historical session (e.g., “Steak Preferences”).Best for: Picking up a project exactly where you left off.
