The Memory Viewer provides a bird’s-eye view of your data. Instead of lists or transcripts, it uses a dynamic word cloud to show you exactly what topics are dominating your MemoryBox.
How the Word Cloud Works
The size and color of the words in the cloud are not random. They are driven by your actual interactions:
- Size Matters: The larger a word appears (e.g., “docs” or “prime rib”), the more frequently that topic appears across your synced sessions.
- Color Clustering: Similar topics are often grouped by color, helping you visually distinguish between “Technical/Work” memories and “Personal/Preference” memories.
- Dynamic Updates: As you continue to use the Blue Airplane in your chats, this cloud will shift and grow in real-time.
Interactive Elements
While it looks like a static image, the Memory Viewer is designed for exploration:
1. Topic Drill-Down
You can click on any word in the cloud to immediately filter your Memory Search or Chat History for that specific term. This is the fastest way to find every interaction related to a project like “Mintlify” or a specific bug report.
2. Manual Refresh
If you’ve just finished a long chat session and want to see how it impacted your cloud, click the Refresh Icon in the top-right corner. This forces the app to re-calculate your topic weights.
What Your Cloud Says About You
The Memory Viewer is a precursor to your Persona and Goodies analysis. By looking at your cloud, you can spot patterns in your own behavior:
- Learning Curves: Watch as new technical terms (like “mdx” or “rebase”) grow larger as you master a new skill.
- Preference Tracking: See your food, color, and lifestyle preferences take shape as distinct clusters.
Documentation Tip: If you notice “garbage” words appearing in your cloud (like “the” or “and”), don’t worry—MemoryBox uses a built-in “stop-word” filter. If a word is showing up, it’s because the AI has identified it as a meaningful entity in your life.
